Popup blockers can prevent the logging out of chat. If you have your pop-up-blocker enabled then you will see your name showing
"Users currently in chat:..."

Internet Explorer: go to:: Tools / Pop-up Blocker / Pop-up Blocker Settings
add manyhandscommunity.com to the website list to allow popups

Firefox go to:: Tools / Page Info / Permissions / Open Pop-up Window
enable the pop-ups for the site
